CN Updates 1/9 - 1/15

-1:10pm. 385 clear of Milepost 28.

-1:15pm. 385 Southbound past Hall Rd with CN 2546 and another CN engine back to back. Cars were mostly tankers, autoracks, 50' boxcars and bulkheads. 385 was moving slower than track speed.

-1:18pm. 385 clear of Milepost 20.

-1:30pm. 524 southbound past 25.6 detector with 64 axels.

-1:35pm. 524 stops to work Stock Building Supply.

-1:40pm. 385 at Nolan. Reports clear of Track Authority. OK down Main 2 to Vinewood then Shared Assets to renter at Coolidge.

-2:07pm. 524 with GTW 4909 long hood forward southbound by Hall Rd with about 15 boxcars. Most if not all were CN boxcars.

-3:25pm. 524 northbound past Hall Rd with 4909 and a cut of CN boxcars. Detector at 25.6 reported 48 axels.

383 is at Nolan. CN 5711 leading.

382 is near Delray Junction.

They must have spun the power at Stanley - it was trailing when I shot it coming down the terminal Sunday morning as Z247. It is one of the ex-UP repaints and I'll try to put a picture up sometime. In other CN news, Z241 yesterday (the Flat Rock to Walbridge train via Diann) had a shiny new pair of CN SD70M-2's on it:

GTW 4909 was backing into Moterm when Amtrak 353 went by just after 11am.

104 has the GTW 4919 and worked the various industries between Milwaukee Junction and Moterm.

384 was heading north on the Mount Clemens Sub around 3pm. CN 2611 was leading.

It looks like CN ran a 260 into Flint and used the power to run a 501 out of Flint.

145 went south on the MTC Sub past 14 Mile this morning a few minutes before 6. At about 12:30 GTW 4909 was going north on the MTC Sub past 14 Mile.
