GTW 5854, 371, is working Pontiac

A northbound, probably 371 went through Birmingham around 3:40pm, GTW 5854 and 34 auto racks. The single GP38-2 appeard to he having some touble pulling the train up the hill at Birmingham, it crossed Opdyke road going 12mph

I have seen many trains struggle up that hill. A lot of people have trouble believing me when I tell them about it but it is definetely there and has given more than one GTW train trouble.

Amtrak 355 south by Moterm @ 18:00,NPCU 90413 and engine 127.At 18:20,391 went north by Moterm with IC 1020 and CN 8022 leading.

391 went through Birmingham at 6:25pm, couldn't get the power

144 has an approach slow north at Waterman.

Someone is lined from Milwaukee Jct. to Coolidge.

Just had one go thru here but couldn't catch the direction based on sound. My guess is headed to Pontiac. Kinda wish I still lived by the tracks....

391 is at Durand. 502 with the CN 8832 had problems between East Shaftsburg and Bancroft, around Perry, Michigan. They have had the line tied up for the past 4 hours. 502 took the head 22 cars and left them between Bancroft and Vernon. 502 went back the the rest of their train at Perry, Michigan and proceeded forward but the train crew ran out of time and died within the control point at Bancroft, this ties up everything. The crew of 391 will get picked up and taken out to 502 and pull 502 forward to clear the main.

490 departed Pontiac at 08:40, CN 5504 leading 5718. They have work at Moterm on the head end.

Looked like a 767 tied down in Pontiac, did not see the power

391 met Amtrak 355 at Royal Oak about 17:57.391 was led by BCR 4614,CN 2646,BCR 4605 and CN 8832-they worked Moterm.355 had the same power as the last couple days,90413 and 127.

104,with GTW 4932,is doubling his train together at the south end of Moterm,MP 9.4,@ 18:10.CN 5532 has a track authority from Haven to Tappan.

10:10am. Looked like a ballast tamper and regulator going northbound at 8 Mile on the Mt Clemens Sub. A maintainer in a CN Truck set off the gates maybe to let them cross or were just testing.

2:15pm. A GTW engine went light NB across 10 Mile. Probably 529 running back to Port Huron. A HiRail was going SB around Stephens St after the light engine.

391 departed from Pontiac at 8:25pm. They do have work in Durand.

513 is at Royal Oak.

502 just got the signal at Chrysler after waiting for Amtrak to clear Milwaukee Junction.

382 is on the Shared.

383 just reported clear of Nolan.

950 working in Pontiac yard at 12:00. GTW 4920.

I caught 145 this morning about 6 am at 14 Mile Rd. It had CN 2757 leading.

391 approaching Moterm with a pickup.
