P370-23 derailed while backing into the Grand Rapids station, according to rsinoms, ending his "trip from hell." with being delayed by metra, false partial activations and track lights. No word on if P371 will run today.

Looks like one truck of AMTK 203 jumped the tracks as they backed into the depot.

CSXT 8554 is currently leading Q327-23 through Benton Harbor.

No change at the GRE, looks like maybe Amtrak Mechancial truck there at 6:45 (white pickup, not an MMRR truck).

No 371 for passengers at the Holland depot as they were boarding a charter bus when I drove by around 8:20. I'm assuming they'll run the train empty once they get it fixed?

RN dispatcher just gave MOW the track authority until 1pm to fix the derailment site on the east leg of the wye at the depot. #1 main from Seymour to Watson Street. Said she couldn't figure any other way to do it. She said the first train she has is MQT about 1 pm.

This is getting to be a G010 World. All in a matter of a few hours this morning, G01023 put together an empty potash train at Webberville and took it to Fowlerville, G01024, took it east to Plymouth from Fowlerville, and G01025 picked up power at Webberville and took it to GRP. On the other hand, maybe it was G01024 that put it together, and G01023 that took it east from Fowlerville.

12:50 EST RN ASKED FOR TRACK GANG YO CLEAR UP AS Z15124 ARRIVED EARLY AT TURNER. THEY WHERE JUST HEADING TO LUNCH SO Z151 SHOULD BE HEADING ON WYOMING YARD SHORTLY.

P371 getting ready to head down from Ann St but are awaiting permission from the dispatcher who is looking to see if there are any restrictions on the loco after being on the ground last night. She gave them permission to go, but then the question was posed about any restrictions and she told them to hold tight until she did some research.

She's now telling them that they need to call the mechanical department in Jacksonville. Interesting conversation to listen to.

Amtrak just went through Zeeland and Holland...think he'll make it to Chicago in time to come back tonight?

Z151 was into Wyoming at about 13:30. MQT 2007, 2008 & GLLX 3002 with I think 45 cars. Back north at about 1440 with a short train, around 10-12 cars.

E950-19 with BNSF 8845 leading followed P371, through St. Joseph at 5:25pm.

Q33424 east at Seymour about 10pm while I was walking west on 36th St. Should be nearing Elmdale now at 10:30pm.
