The other thread has been running since March. The beginning of the month is a logical time to start a new one so for now we'll see if you guys post enough to make it a monthly thread.

I already was going to post, so I thought I'd throw that bit in too cause I had it  . It does confirm they are running roughly the same schedule as last year though...so it's sorta relevant

Evan next month you can start the thread just be early next month like in the morning the first day. I chased LSRC southbound Z127 to Flint today for power he had the 4300 in the lead 5921, and the 1177 he had 156 cars no grain train all mixed pretty neat at least 25 loads of scrap. and some empty LP gas tanks coming out of storage. 22 of them to be exact.

LSRC made it into Alpena around 6:30 EDT this morning. Grandparents report the train into town nearly every morning around 6:30, with the southbound leaving shortly after 17:00 EDT

LSRC 800 southbound with the train from Alpena tonight. Spotted in Blue w/ white strips on the nose. 17 cars. It took 3.5 seconds for each car to clear the crossing, half the time of summer 2010 (7 seconds per 40ft car).

CMGN 2014 and HESR 5492 were at the head end of a grain train NB through Vets Park, Bay City just after 6PM. Should be in Auburn right now.

Update on that grain train, he is headed for Auburn now, was by my house on the Midland Line just departing town about 20 min ago. I believe they changed crews at North Union St from earlier.

Little late but just got home from work. While on my truck route in Owosso today caught GLC heading north out of town.Longest GLC I have ever seen, took 45min for me to get though town.Power was 2 GP38's,6 plastics,5 loads of coke,3 long tank cars, and rest was all sand hoppers.I lost count of the sand hoppers but at least 80 or so.I take it the sand mine in Yuma most be busy these days.Anyone know what there loading out aday up there?
