Got a southbound getting ready to go on the LSRC out of Saginaw can't go watch it but would like to catch the northbound he's got four engines up front. And by the way i was in Oakley on Friday there is a grain train setting there on the GLC not sure when it's ready to go.

That is pretty nice isn't it, it sure turned cold outside, I have a lot of memories of that yard, There was a train in the early CSX era like 1987 it's symbol was 396 it would depart about the same time as this or later. I remember one night it had a BQ23-7 in the lead in full Family Lines System paint, The Q stood for Crew Quarters Cab it was before they plated the windows over and turned them into B units trailing. What a wacky sight that was they had the lights turned on in the cab that cab was huge. It was about 11:00 at night and couldn't get any pictures, That was a bummer that would have been a neat picture.Evan wrote:Nice, picked up 800 801. Re: GLC/AA/LSRC/HESR Heads Up November
A few trains to post about today. Z-117 on the LSRC leaving Flint. HESR 810 is pulling 24 car grain train from Richville to Vassar then running out to Gera where they will pick up the other 40+ cars then off to Saginaw on the Port Huron sub. Also HESR 815 job is hauling the stored coal hoppers off the Munger line to take to Saginaw by way of the Bad Axe sub.
