Horns in the distance. Sounds like they're coming thru town. Would this be L502?

Headed e/b into Battle Creek is a sizeable all double-stack container train with CN power...a little unusual as CN seems to normally tack there intermodal stuff on with their mixed freight. Leaving BC w/b is a good size mixed freight, BCOL 4610 leading CN 5554. Never noticed this before but it looked like 4610 had 2 sets of ditch lights plus the headlight?

Another e/b into BC now, this one a loaded coal train with BWLX, GOHX, GGPX, and BNSF hoppers, headed to Lansing with BNSF 5855 and BNSF 6091 on the headend and BNSF 9239 on the rear. High green on the other main for another e/b, maybe a bit of a drag race into the yard! :D

2nd one e/b is UP 4292 and UP 6955 with an autorack empty.

Also a loaded autorack lined up to head w/b out of BC yard, couldn't see the power. Getting a little busy here in the wee hours!

Based on the time that eastbound was likely Q116, but might've been Q148. Both of those trains are primarily intermodal trains and will sometimes run without any general freight tacked on.

All of the former BC Rail engines have 2 sets of ditch lights. The top set of lights are actually angled inwards to shine around curves at night. This was done to help BC Rail crews see rockslides and other obstructions around curves at night.

That was 451 with BCOL 4613. A Maintainer had a track authority behind them from Milwaukee Jct to Yellow Cab.

CN 4908 with 6 boxcars and 2 tankers was SB by Clay St on Main 1 around 1:30pm where they went around the wye to shove their cars into East Yard while CN 5759 was light engine was wyeing their engine at Milwaukee Jct after decoupling from a long cut of intermodal cars at East Yard. Then CN 5759 went to the north end of East Yard and coupled to GTW 4619 that had a consist of one boxcar that had been tied down since at least this morning. Either CN has changed the way the locals operate into East Yard or things are running a little different today.

Funny, CN 4908 Doesn't exist. It's still a GTW/BCOL/IC/EJE unit regardless if its in CN Paint or not. just for future reference
