451, CN 5759 and UP 4804, is at Yellow Cab. They will be picking up the BNSF 4864 in Pontiac.
GTW 4925 is working Pontiac.

UP 1983, the Western Pacific heritage unit, should be going east through Schoolcraft soon. Most likely leading an auto rack train.

Posts on the Chicago area Heads Up facebook group said the WP train was an ASECNR on the UP and is now either CN E260 or E280.

451 is at East Lansing.

An eastbound is at East Lansing, CN 2503 and CN 5767.

UP 1983 is on E280 for Flat Rock.

393 has CN 2643, CN 2204. They're at Pt. Huron now.

In that case, according to the facebook post, it's actually E260.

260/280/whatever arriving at Flint currently. Will be yarding the train and running light to Durand to wye the engines as both are facing east currently. Not sure where they'll go after that.

First the train is E28091 14...the train was destined for Flint since it left Seattle, WA days ago on the UP..the power never changed the whole route. All the cars were billed for the Flint Assembly when it left and still are. Just because they use the E280, E260, E276 symbols doesnt mean its going to the place that people "think" its going because that symbol "normally" goes there...these symbols dont have normal destination points and they change depending on the need of the customer. Anyone who knows CN operations would know this..CN has done this since they took over the GT and the GT did the same. They can run a E280 to Lansing, Flint, Flat Rock, or Dearborn..same for a E260 or E276. It just happens to be that most times a E280 will go to FR or Dearborn and E260 will go to Flint or Lansing but once again its the way that they get the trains from the interchange point. There also is a few more that run every so often but you get the point. This train was right on schedule and was planned the whole time out of Chicago this morning and it ran as planned. The normal "know it alls" on TO and HU once again shouldnt post unless they have facts.

And to add it to that, I guess this goes to show that you can suck mud before getting any heads up west of Battle Creek or so. If we have any CN insiders, they sure don't like to share it outside of the clique. Similar to the QNS&L new unit delivery a while back.
Got some farmland out southwest of South Bend, and sure would have been nice to arrange to be there for both of these moves.

502, CN 5699 leading, is at Royal Oak. They have 87 cars.
116, CN 2231 leading, is in Pontiac.
391 is at Moterm

399 CN 5636, CN 5791, UP 6809, UP 1983, GTW 4932 was westbound through Durand at about 0830 this morning, westbound.

CN 8718 + another CN and ~86 cars eastbound at Farm Ln. @ 1335.

CN 502, CN 2414 Is heading back to their train at Durand.
Apparently, a stalled 766 is between Durand and Pontiac. GEVO leading.

950, IC 1017 and GTW 4908, is working Moterm. 513 is at Moterm waiting for IC 1017 to clear.
