There seems to be little detail about when it's coming through Michigan. Did I simply miss something in this? Does anybody else have information?

Maybe because its no where near CN yet? Just sayin. I'm sure more info will become available as it gets closer.59caddy wrote:There seems to be little detail about when it's coming through Michigan. Did I simply miss something in this? Does anybody else have information?

They want people to watch and track their train, so I'm sure there will be people tracking it all the way.Evan wrote:Maybe because its no where near CN yet? Just sayin. You can also check their Facebook page, people are putting updates there, too.
Re: Steam engine on a flat car on CN
It must be in Canada now, probably in Quebec or Montreal. Anyone know anything more yet?

Any more info on this anybody?
Re: Steam engine on a flat car on CN
CNRAILFANNER says he heard in Durand that the steam engine would come through on June 15th or 16th. June 15th was yesterday, hopefully it's still coming through today.
Anyone have any thoughts on whether it might use the Holly Sub or Flint Sub?
PLEASE post any updates on here asap.

Any ideas on when it will leave Toronto? And, does it look like the car will come through Michigan tonight?SD40-2 wrote:It's in Toronto

It's that British steam engine that came by last fall on M348.

The A4 from Green Bay is still at York. Or were there two British steam engines shipped east through Canada last year?

No, there was 1 I know of. The one shipped WB this time is, from the Belfast and Moosehead Railroad in Maine. It was for sale on OMR and a few other places for sometime.railohio wrote:The A4 from Green Bay is still at York. Or were there two British steam engines shipped east through Canada last year?
Re: Steam engine on a flat car on CN
I believe that is a Swedish steam locomotive including the passenger cars as well. The B&MRR I believe was one of the very few railroads in North America that operated European equipment. Another railroad that operates European equipment is somewhere in Eastern Ontario or Quebec that is still active.

I checked the Wiki but did not see 399. What is the origin and destination of that train?

I think 399 is the same train as M399, which according to the wiki runs from Toronto to Salem, IL.Standard Railfan wrote:I checked the Wiki but did not see 399. What is the origin and destination of that train?

My nephew says that the Wasatch Facebook page reports it through Marcellus about 4 hours ago or so. Looks like any CN insiders here, if we have any, have once again kept the info on the downlow.
Re: Steam engine on a flat car on CN
Where's Marcellus? Does this mean that it has already passed through Michigan?NSSD60M wrote:My nephew says that the Wasatch Facebook page reports it through Marcellus about 4 hours ago or so. Looks like any CN insiders here, if we have any, have once again kept the info on the downlow.

Marcellus is near Battle Creek, odds are, it's gone. It was on M399 which is a early morning train. No matter where you were set up, it likely would've been dark.59caddy wrote:Where's Marcellus?
