I meant to post this earlier today, but 149 cleared Okemos, MP 228 Flint Sub at 5:42am with a solo cn unit. It went into the siding to pass another westbound which was only one block ahead of it at the time it was on the single track between Okemos and Haslett.
For those that don't know the area well, it used to be double track through the area until about 10-12 years ago when Hunter Harrison decided to make it single track with sidings.
Im uncertain as to what the first westbound was but was surprised to see the gates down when I was a mile away from the crossing stopped at a light and then to see 149 creeping up less than 5 mins later.

CN has the CTC out at East Durand. The GTW searchlights are down and new LED's are up and lit. They are doing the cutover now.

Southbound on Mt Clemens Sub by 9 Mile Rd in Warren. Did not see much through the trees.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

GTW 4619 was southbound through Birmingham at 2230 with 28 cars.

I saw this pass through Fraser at 6:33 p.m. It's the first time I've seen (CN) a GE C44-9W on a GTW local train!!!! The 4,400 HP sure seems "Excessive" to me! Although these locals (Double-Stacks) are not the same as the past, it's very different seeing these trains! I hope they'll use an SD60F again!
