CSX picked up all the empties from the GRE, can't see if they delivered any. 36 on the rear of 371

D707 departing Wyoming eastward shortly. There is also a crew on duty for a K-train to go east. Noi idea yet if they will have a train out of Wyoming or if they will be light power to Ensel. Currently, maintainers will be moving some rail around between Godfrey and Pleasant St after 707 gets by and before the K-train leaves.

D708-08 w/CSXT 4018 is on the move east. Lined and locked at Turner st. Webberville, Rytek, Fowlerville turn today.

If I heard correctly. Y121 just hit a car or was hit by a car at Riley St north of Holland. Police are already on scene. Trainmaster and maintainers in route shortly.

Y121 was hit by a car that went right through the crossing gates at Riley St. Just got back from the scene; car was heading heading eastbound on Riley and more than likely hit the caboose. Saw Joe Cap. talking to emergency responders, didn't have time to talk to him about this. They had to cut the door of the car open to get the driver out. I'll post pics later after I get back from my doc appointment...

Y107-08 is switching Plastipak in Westland.
Q241-08 has just departed Rougemere.
Q272 is working TDSI in New Boston.
An unknown northbound K-Train is coming up to Erie according to scanner conversations.

Plymouth just had a cluster of meeting trains:
First, Q241-08 came southbound down the Toledo Wye with CSX 7833, CSX 7805, and 23 autoracks.
Q241 met Y107-08 at Main Street who was coming back from Plastipak with CSX 2743, 3 covered hoppers, and a Chessie caboose, but had to wait for D738-08 which followed Q241 to Farmer Street. D738 was CSX 6148 with 0 cars and went up the Toledo Wye to switch East Yard. After D738 cleared, Y107 continued North to make a reverse move down the Saginaw Wye to East Yard. They passed Southbound D739-08 at the diamond who departed with CSX 2741, 2 gondolas, and 3 boxcars.
All took place between 11:15 and 11:30am.

D738-08 is currently working Levan in Livonia at 12:35pm and will return to Plymouth's North Yard after they are finished.

Sounds like D738 will be heading North to Wixom soon. They will be working in Lincoln Yard and the Ford Plant demolition site.

Northbound/ Eastbound K385-07 cleared Plymouth at about 1:30pm with CSX 979, CSX 303, and 80ish loaded coke hoppers.

Northbound D738-08 has cleared Middle River at 1:45pm. Same power with a few covered hoppers and a couple tall gondolas that were grabbed from North Yard.

15:20 EDT: MQT Z151 idling short of Turner. Southbound, not sure on power. Train ends between the ramps and 96.

Approach signal lit for a SB at Watson. Most likely Z151 as 3001 reported

Car ran into the side of Y121's caboose. 80 something year old guy, lights and gates were working normally. No serious injuries.

Y597 east at Godfrey heading for the GDLK Hughart Yard. From how I understood it, they will be retrning to Wyoming and then going to switch Padnos at Joe Brown.

Late report, but D739-08 returned back to Plymouth 2:30pm with 12 cars (9 gondolas, 2 empty centerbeam cars, and 1 coil car). The train went up the Toledo Wye and into East Yard to set-off all the cars.

The action didn't end there as North/Eastbound Q272-07 was hot on his tail and cleared the Toledo Wye at 2:45pm with CSX 65, CSX 8870, 1 flatcar with stakes, and 2 auto parts boxcars. Surprisingly, there was another Detroit-bound train hot on Q272's trail. It was another loaded coke train for Detroit. He seemed silent on my scanner, but he cleared the Toledo Wye at about 3pm. Power was CSX 9027 and CSX 294. During this parade of trains, D739 was able to sneak by from East Yard via the Saginaw Wye and went into North Yard engine-light. What a day!

Look for Q321 or whatever the sbd train to Toledo from Flint to have BNSF 5890-8923 in the next few days...that set had a grain train from Saginaw today and went to Flint.
