CSX Train Location Update 10-23-13

P371 busting out of Ann St. at 0710. Q335 with CSXT 4782 should be reaching Seymour shortly.

The GRE yard is devoid of those 14 CHs, but it looks like they're on the run-around on CSX. Too dark to tell if the entire train is there dead or they left just the CHs there. Several more still on the interchange track, Amtrak gone, no crew on duty at 7:27 EDT.

Can't see if the locomotive is north of Ann St in the daylight, I'm assuming it's not because I would expect it on the south end. The GRE had a big void under the track at Grove Street a couple days ago. It was found by the city's CSO contractor boring a new sewer under the tracks. I don't know if the track is back in service or not.

An unknown southbound grain train from Flint cleared Plymouth diamond at 10:50am with CSX 7791, CSX 4765, and 83 grain loads. He is not too far behind southbound Q241-23 which is near New Boston with a YN3 GE (No numbers, sorry) and 1 autorack. Northbound Q272-22 is at Romulus waiting for an NS train and D739-23 is currently grabbing a car in Plymouth's East Yard, then returning to North Yard to tack the car on it's train south. CSX 2654 is today's power.

Westbound/ Southbound Q151-23 came around the Toledo wye at Noon with CSX 956, CSX 431, and 113 intermodal (All loads). They met Northbound Q272-22 at Main Street. After Q151 cleared, D739 came back from East Yard to North Yard (via Toledo Wye) with one coil car for their train. After D739 cleared, Q272 took the Toledo Wye east. Consist was CSX 7301 and 4 cars (1 covered hopper, 1 gondola, 1 tank car, and 1 gondola).

At 12:50pm, D739-23 went south with the coil car and the rest of their train. CSX 2654 as earlier, the one coil car, 23 covered gondolas, 2 tarped gondolas, and one loaded centerbeam car (27 total).

It sounds like D738-23 is switching customers on the "Third Rail" in Livonia.

At 4:35pm, southbound K340-22 cleared the Toledo Wye with CSX 4777, CSX 7495, and a short-ish empty coke train. Southbound D716-23 followed K340 where both took the siding at Main Street. D716 had CSX 2662, 4 loaded centerbeam cars, and 3 boxcars.

At 5:15pm, D739-23 is returning north to Plymouth behind Q150-23 and that Q321-23 mentioned earlier is just north of town.

North/eastbound Q150-23 cleared the Toledo Wye at about 5:30pm with CSX 759, CSX 3050, and 75 intermodal (2/3 were empties).

Q321-23 clear Wayne at 6:15pm.

Hung out at Plymouth for a bit with Chrisracer, PSG, and MustangChris. Saw the tail end of Q150 going east, and then Q321 going south just before 6pm. Ate at Bode's, then saw D73923 go north about 7:15pm. Thanks for meeting up guys.

Need some CSX train ID help from those who know more about the CSX

All of my trains are from today at Romulus, time, type of train, and engines (numbers if I could see) are what I have

1---11:35am: SB Grain train ES44AC 5385 and a 7000 series dash 8
2---11:58am: SB Autorack (literally 1 autorack ) 7859 dash 8 and 51 AC44CW, one autorack
3---12:16pm: NB 4 car mixed dash 8 7331 solo and 4 cars
4---12:38pm: SB grain train. No engines or numbers, but were both big GEs of some sort

Any help on symbols is appreciated
