There's an N903-02 over in Illinois at the moment. Looks like he's still on the BRC trying to get on the NS. Last updated at 75th st a couple hours ago.

What appears to be a grain train is going through Fostoria towards Toledo. I'm not sure though if it is going to go into Michigan.

Well Jenison has been busy...in 20 minutes we got EB D700 with 30-odd cars from Holland, followed shortly thereafter by WB BNSF lite power.

Based on consist and direction, a likely Q335 was rolling through Ensel at 1815.

Last I knew, there were three of them dead between Fowlerville and Ensel, Two Q335's and one S335. Could be any one of them for as long as they have been sitting. Perhaps even using an Ensel crew seeing there has not been any D708 in four days again. Somebody needs to clear out their route, so they can work. Haven't even seen anything of any Q334 train in two days either. An Ensel crew finally got the empty grain sitting in the Williamston pass for three days spotted into Webberville last night which helped some.

Going by Wyoming Yard on 196, the yard is full of snow. Not much clearance between the cars and the snowpack.

FWIW, it had a YN3 leader, and a YN2 C40-8W trailing. I have been trying to recall the numbers, but there was too much going on in the car at the time.

I almost think there may have been two Q335's come through; one right after the other but I'm really not sure. The scanner chatter was very confusing. One of them def had a BNSF leader.

I don't here about East Jordan Iron Works getting switched so I thought this might be of interest. Also, is the ethanol plant in Woodbury still getting rail service? It's been a while since I've read abut them getting any cars.

I went by Sunfield today around noon and saw the CSX local switching E Jordan Iron Works. Looked like one gon going in, not sure what went out, too much snow!! Does the ethanol plant in Woodbury get any rail in or out? I saw no evidence of either. Thanks -

They get switched occasionally. They are set to ship and receive by rail and can even handle unit grain trains easily. They have their own RC trackmobile. Local markets are using all the outbound products (DDG's and Ethanoll) so most go by truck. The ability to receive a unit grain is primarily a hedge against a local crop failure. All in bound corn arrives by truck. Inbound tanks of gasoline used to denature the ethanol were the most common rail traffic inbound to the plant for a while. There wereeven tanks of corn syrup coming in at one point although I'm not sure why.
