Looked like 393 was putting a train together today in Cadillac to go north. About a dozen short hoppers and one tank so far.

Crew working the Ithaca bean plant. 2 units on the main north of the switch, one of the sd40-2 shoving all that stuff off L500 into the bean yard. There is an empty biewer beam and a pole load on the train. 1345

Northbound OSTN through Howell. 383, 386 and 390 are your motors. Nice P5 on the 383.

If this thing found online actually happens, that'd be nice for TC GLC updates. Wondering if GLC is involved, or if it's a sales pitch by a realtor.

Yeah I was wondering what was going on with this spur. The other day I was driving near parsons rd and these yellow things (idk what their called) they were plowing all the trees and branches away from the spur.

On the subject of Traverse City, does anyone know what business the large building at the corner of Parsons Rd and Airport Access Rd? There was a spur that went north from the PM main across Parsons, the TART is even still marked for where the spur crossed. There was also a spur that went into what is now the Career Tech Center. What was that?

Building at Airport Access and Parson's used to receive plastic pellets. Burr Clocks or something like that IIRC. I'll look up my notes when I get home.
IDK about the former use of the Career Tech Center. I'll check my notes for that too.

Re: Great Lakes Central Updates July 2021
It was Burwood Industries. They made clocks. LOTS of clocks. Received 2-4 hoppers of plastic pellets per month into the TSBY days.AARR wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 4:50 pmBuilding at Airport Access and Parson's used to receive plastic pellets.
