00:29 - hearing a northbound head towards Chilson. Can hear the EMD engines but I have never heard a horn like that on GLC.

391/385 south between Boyne and Petoskey at 2:37pm with around 8 covered hoppers. Rough estimate.

GLC clear Lakeland NB at 5:45. 329, 395, 382 power. Mostly AOKX covered reddish brown hoppers.
Was this a potash train? Very slow going, much slower than would be expected from an empty grain train.

No, not out of local beans, most of the large co ops are dumping last years crop and cleaning there bins getting ready for this years harvest.
