Re: Summerail 2010
make it nine....crossbuck is coming with me. Also i got some questions...yes of course there is the swap meet and the first presentation and then the second presentation like about five hours later. I'd like to stay for the second round but i always find myself leaving town after the first show is over. just out of curiousity what is everyone who is on here....doing afterwards? I don't know Cincinnati very well, do people go and eat out somewhere, do they go hang out somewhere? Is there a yearly ritual some of you fellas follow when summerrail comes around like on friday before the event and saturday when the event is over? any answers would be appreciated..
I have one idea in mind that crossbuck and i might do..go hang out in Blue Ash at that restaurant we saw on tv on Triple D

Re: Summerail 2010
There are roughly 250 people that go to this so there isn't one large group that does everything together all weekend.redside20 wrote:just out of curiousity what is everyone who is on here....doing afterwards? Friday we wander down to Cincinnati and look for something to do. Usually we get dinner around Cincinnati somewhere and hit up the 8:00pm slide shows. If it's sunny we'll try to spend more time outside, if it's not we usually stick to the air conditioning.
If it's sunny we go out by the tracks before the show; if not we usually hang around the station and chat with whoever else is around. Traditionally we've gone to Camp Washington for the dinner break along with many other attendees. This year, who knows, as the break is longer than it's been in years past. There is an after-show party down by the river, but I've never been to it. We usually head back to the hotel after the show lets out because it's 10:30-11:00 before we get back there.
