Does anyone have any videos of the MAW they would mind shareing to youtube? The only videos of the MAW on youtube don't have any trains in them just the track. I know a lot of pictures are taken of the MAW but, If anyone could film and upload some videos of the MAW in operation that would be great :D

I have a couple, but they have gone missing. If I find them I will link them. I will also look for a nice day and shoot one or two.

I caught up with the MAW on my Spring Break last year. Put the video at 3:29, and you'll see the MAW heading eastbound toward and then in Okolona.

The video of MAW going over the track with what looks like a couple inch gap is funny  . And the rail almost sinks into the ground as far as the top of the rail  .

It does actually. I have seen gaps between rails over 6 inchs. I will take some pictures of some and post them sometime.

He said that the MAW derailed daily, and takes them days to fix it. Sure the MAW drops some wheels...but it by far isn't daily or even weekly at that. And only once in a while does it take them more than a few hours to right them. That is why I was offended by it, thats all.

Yeah, I agree, he made it sound way worse then it is. As Bad as the MAW is, it isn't that bad.

Y@ and I talked about it the other night. He tends to make his captions a little more dramatic than they need to be.

First part: Yes I did, because they do.
Second part: I did not say that.

Doug, you must not get out of Napoleon much, because they DO derail almost daily. Trust me, I parallel half the line twice a day, almost every day. I see things.

They don't derail almost daily. To say so is a gross exaggeration.

I would say 3 to 4 times a month on average. FAR from almost daily.
