The three engines and two MWCX gons are tied down near Deatrick Street. The rest of the interchange is up by the switch.

Did anyone check in Cecil to see what they did with CNUR 7? We drove through there Thurs about 11am, the crew was leaving in the white ranger without having started the loco, passed through again about 230pm and had not moved. Hopefully I will get my pics and videos posted today...

The derailed storage cars are still there so 7 cannot get to Woodburn. My guess is that it's still there.

5 inches of snow last night and they are still working today rerailing cars and fixing yard tracks, the interchange and main are now straight and level, the horrendous dips are gone. 2 days, 20 ties and that's it, outrageous isn't it?

FWIW Y101 must have worked yesterday but only picked up the cars or a few cars and left the locos. They were originally coupled to the rest of the cars in the interchange and have not moved.

I went for a shot like yours but got no Westbounds in the 2 hours I was over there this afternoon. Was happy to get more shots of them not front coupled to anything else.

No kidding. I saw them working today. Big pile of new ties by the yard office in Defiance, and when I was picking up the girlfriend I saw them unloading another large tie pile next to the Woodlawn Avenue crossing in Napoleon.

BTW not sure where you heard the MAW guys are gone but from everything I have heard the Crews are staying with the line and will simply have a new employer.

Sorry to post again, but would I be correct on the 3 MAW locos being planned to move out on CSX Y101 tomorrow morning?

If Y101 runs tomorrow, yes. I believe they are running.

This all seems so familiar.

A former Class one line that was neglected for decades is taken over by an poorly capitalized shortline. Track conditions are so poor that derailments are a daily occurrence. Finally, another operator steps in to pick up the pieces.

This sounds so much like the Michigan Northern 30 years ago.

I wish the new owners and operators the best of luck.
