Re: Quincy
Right now as it stands....one in each direction. In the future, who knows but I do know this. With this wheat milling facility coming online the I&0 could quite possibly have a unit train thing going from wherever the traffic comes from. Or they'll just stick the wheat traffic in with the P&G, pig iron traffic and run down to Tremont with one train and swap traffic with the Springfield based crews and continue down the Dayton District like they've been doing.CSXIndyLine wrote:How many IORY trains run through Quincy a day?

Re: Quincy
Probably easiest to go to Lima in the morning and wait for them to leave then move south. If it doesn't look like they're going to leave by 9 best to save it for another day.
Re: Quincy
If it helps a friend reported a SB I&O at Maplewood today around 2:45pm. Maplewood is the small town north of Quincy.

Re: Quincy
They switched back to a day LSL and night LNL about a month ago. Only works out that way on Monday, the LNL never makes it back to Lima in the morningmidland sub wrote:LSL should still be a night job.
Re: Quincy
What work is LNL doing that it can't make a Lima-Delta turn in 12 hours?alittlevanwerty wrote:Only works out that way on Monday, the LNL never makes it back to Lima in the morning

Re: Quincy
In not sure what's changed. It seems mixed traffic may be up. Plus switching Ottawa. And many times its the LSL not getting back on time either.AARR wrote:What work is LNL doing that it can't make a Lima-Delta turn in 12 hours?alittlevanwerty wrote:Only works out that way on Monday, the LNL never makes it back to Lima in the morning
