Whatever happened to the Columbus-New Jersey vans? I heard 24R still ran/left Columbus on Mondays, but I don't remember when 23R ran, I think it used to be Thursday through Crestline? Anybody know if these still run or have they been gone? Thanks.

Can't say I've heard those symbols. Unless they run in the doldrums of night, they probably don't run anymore.

I caught the 23R one time at Crestline and it had 3 cars of overseas double stacks (3 platform cars) and that was it. So I'm thinking along the lines you are.

I saw a 24R a couple weeks ago, but haven't heard anything of it since. I'm not sure if they were running it as a "test" or it was just an incremental train.

If you saw it, then it's probably regularly scheduled. I think someone said 24R's schedule was a Monday night departure from Columbus.
