Yes, with a set of LBFX [LB Foster] and a set of CWRX [Continuous Welded Rail] my guess reporting marks. I hadn't saw the CFE 3316 through VW in awhile.

Hearing rumors of some more trains on the CF&E between Ft. Wayne and Crestline again. Let's hope it happens! Time will tell!

Has the CF&E set up its own train dispatching yet? According to my 2007 timetable it was still being dispatched by NS at that time.

NS Pittsburg West still dispatches Crestline to Adams. I don't see that changing since NS runs trains as far as Colsan. NS Chicago line dispatcher handles Mike Tower and west.

Just clarifying -- this is the Chicago dispatcher in Ft. Wayne that also dispatches the former Nickel Plate west of Ft. Wayne as well as the Marion Branch. Dearborn hasn't done dispatching on the Ft. Wayne Line in a long, long time.

LIYD switching Lima with a huge consist: NS dash9/CN SD70M-2/NS standard cab dash 9/398/388?. The NS local LF10 dropped these locomotives of at Ft Wayne yesterday so I'm not sure why they made it to Lima.

I caught it heading East thru Delphos around 8 am. I only seen the NS,CN and two CF&E units. But then again I was forty feet in the air paying attention to some electric lines. Ken 8)

LIFW wb at 12 am, 5 locomotives. CF&E 3880 leading 3886, 3882, MNAR 3898 and a wheeling SD40 which I couldn't see the number of. Wish I had gone east of Lima since the Wheeling rail train hadn't reached Lima as of 2pm.

LIFW returned to Lima this morning with 2 CSX Gevos leading IORY 4036 and CF&E 3023.

LIVW just pulled 4 empties from Van Wert terminal, CORP 4024 / IORY 4032

LIVW went south to CSP in Van Wert around 12:45PM. Leading were IORY 4032/CORP 4024 with 5 loads. Had 4 loads down by Scott Equity and must have brought 1 with them to VW.

I saw CF&E hyrail Westbound out of Elida followed by a very small SPERRY hyrail truck inspecting track this afternoon.

Scott, no I didn't see you. I saw the LIVW cross George St. from about a block away. Hopefully, we'll meet soon! Keep up the great work on videos! I'm not much of a FB or Youtube responder. That's just me, but I have watched your vids. 8)

Also, have you heard some of the rumors of NS running again on the CF&E between FW and Crestline? Maybe just rumors we'll see.

I had one camera set up at George St and another between Main and Woodland.

Yes I'm hearing rumors and here's the odd happenings I've seen to add fire to it:
NS highrailed the line several times
NS communications keeps doing out of the ordinary radio tests with maintainers.
NS Fort Wayne local set out 3 six axles at Piqua, LIFW crew took them to Lima. Not sure what crew ran them to Crestline but they were spotted there Saturday.
Widespread MofW project going on the entire length of the line
Diamond being reinstalled at Tolleston.

G&W isn't dumpimg the CFE. NS has rights to run up to eight trains a day so why not use it if they are dispatching it to get around the mess that Bellevue has become? Track work is G&W response to ten years of neglect by Railamerica....
