You're asking for an opinion about a fact?Tier4GEVO wrote:I'm hearing 23, 13, 21.9. What MP is Berea in your opinion?

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

Is there not more than one line used by CSX in Berea? IIRC the B&O and C&O both passed through the area.Tier4GEVO wrote:I'm hearing 23, 13, 21.9. What MP is Berea in your opinion?

C&O never ran to Cleveland, although its headquarters was there.

No. The CSX line he is referring to is the line CSX got at the Conrail merger, the Big 4. The C&O never went anywhere near there either.Standard Railfan wrote:Is there not more than one line used by CSX in Berea? On track 1 if you are traveling west (south) you will come to QDS 21.9 near the tower at CP 194 on the Chicago Line (NS). Then you pass QDS 22.3 and then the old CP 13 at QI 14.5. The MP's are a tad confusing here because QDS counts west to where the QI numbering starts, which uses the old CR MP's.

I stand corrected. I was thinking NYC and somehow came up with C&O.
Who ended up with the ex- LSMS route through that part of the world?
Thanks Brett.

Hey Pat. If you mean the "Chicago Line" by the LSMS, then NS got that. NS: Conway-Elkhart route of CR and CSX got Selkirk-Greenwich route. That way, there is no crossing anymore at Berea of routes.Standard Railfan wrote:I stand corrected. I was thinking NYC and somehow came up with C&O.
