Would anyone happen to have (and or know the ansewer to my question) the steepest grade (percentage wise) on the long gone Cincinnati Northern?

Or also, what specific Conrail time table I could find this in?

Well, depends, some parts were gone by Conrail, others remained in service for a while after...so I'd look for Penn Central, Cincinnati Division (Southern Region) to start for the entire line. What section are you looking for?

For some reason I'm thinking there was a grade north of Germantown to Lewisburg area which lasted a couple of years after Conrail. Check out multimodals.org there might be something there.

Can't confirm but supposedly the grade from the Maumee River to Sherwood was fairly steep to make the at grade crossing with the former B&O.

I've heard stories of northbound stalls near Hudson, Mi(underpass with the NYC Old Road.

For anyone who is interested. It's in the 1975 Penn Central Southern Region timetable.

Listed as "Carlisle Branch Ansonia Secondary Track" and "Northern Branch". Pages 27 and 28. Although, I can find no reference to grade percentages.
