a company has bought the old BRISTOL PIPE plant in bristol, called KIBBE-CHEM, for the sole purpose to warehouse and distribute plastic plellets and some some other bulk non hazmat chemicals, there a plan in place to re-activate the rail siding on site, car count could be quite good, 10-15 a week..

I didn't realize Bristol Pipe had closed :o I railfanned it many years ago when it was operating 24/7. It's spur would usually have a string of 7-10 (???) covered hoppers in it.

The former Bristol Pipe spur was still in very good condition as of this past late spring early summer. They had been talking about some one moving in since about that time as well. Glad to see companies come back to the Elkhart area
