Runners derailed in Marathon.

Unread post by Jochs »

Runners in a marathon near Columbus were interrupted by a Louisville and Indiana train. Employees of the railroad had hoped to get the train through before the marathon, but that didn't happen. They had to stop the train as runners were crossing the tracks in front of them. Then, frustrated runners decided it was ok to climb through cars of the stopped train in order to maintain a good pace in the marathon.

Apparently Columbus is not an Operation Lifesaver community.
