Oh yea i will be there, Lets see will be chaseing 4449 from battle creek to durand, Then from there to fostoria, 24 hours at marion, Then down to Columbus, Have to pay my last respects to the Ohio Central since they got bought out by G & W, Coshocton, Dover, Brewster the W&LE, The last time i was to Brewster yard they didn't have a locked gate, I guess i will see what it is like now since it is locked, Then follow the W&LE main line to Bellevue oh. Via Spencer, There is a W&LE yard in Hartland east of bellevue lots of power there too. Then work my way west towards steamfest. Was going to do most of this stuff 4th of july weekend but the cutbacks by the railroads changed my mind.

Ahhhh..that's why you started this thread, to see who you could ride around town with. I updated the thread to put this tid-bit of info at the beginning to help you out. I'm going to be around town with my brother most of Saturday, sorries.

I'll be there. I'm on a pre festival trip to Detroit so on my way from Indianapolis I hope to stop in Owosso on Thursday to watch 4449 leave for Alma. Then I'm in Owosso Saturday, will be onboard the PM 1225 excursion plus the night photo session.

I know some friends that are and I'd like to pull some strings to chase one of the Daylight trips by way of carpool..

I wanted to go but I will be taking Amtrak to St. Louis that weekend to celebrate my bday a week late. At least I still get to deal with trains (Amtrak and the METRA in St. Louis)

I'm driving the plow truck up wednesday staying the night working at 4 on thursday then will be back up that night until sunday morning, so I'll just use the plow truck and push the fails out of the way.

The family and I will be there and am looking forward to it. This'll be the first real rail "event" for my sons so I hope the herd that will be there will be fairly well behaved!
