In comparing the photos, it does look like Gould Interlocking. Had I of known that it was in Ohio, I would have posted it in the Ohio section. Honestly, I can't remember going there, but having stayed up all night prior to this day, it would only make sense that mind erased it. I want to thank every one of you, especially RRTTF who cracked this cracked this this perplexing photographic puzzle. :D
Yours truly,

Ron

As a side note when I hired out I also got yard maps for the yard that ran along the trail (US24) between the zoo and South Ave, in addition to the "downtown" Toledo tracks

Only problem there is no overpass as seen in the picture. Unless I didn't go down the tracks far enough...
Go to the SW its the Ohio Turnpike.
1st rd before that is Glanzmine rd.

I went in that tower once in the 70's when my mom took me chasing a train out of Maumee, I have no idea how she knew wher the tower was as we careened down side streets then bounced down the access road raising lots of dust. I do remember the operator coming out to see what was up with some "crazy woman" skidding to a stop near the diamonds. We sat and talked with the guy up in the tower as he lined a N&W through. I just wish now I'd taken him up on the offer of a bunch of old paperwork and such. But to me it was just N&W "crap"

Did the interlocking of the Ann Arbor and the Grand Trunk's Air Line have a tower in Hamburg and did anyone have a picture of it?

You mentioned a Bluewater NRHS trip leaving from Livonia, and you mentioned May 14, 1988. That trip would be the Holland Tulip Festival. It left from Livonia on CSX, and traveled through Lansing on its way to Holland. Were you following that train? Maybe that will give folks more clues if they knew the route of the train, assuming you were following that train.

BTW, that train hit an automobile in Sunfield (near Lansing) that day, killing the three teenagers in the auto. I was a Bluewater car host on that trip. Ironically, the same trip on the day before, Friday the 13th, passed without incident.

Sadly one of the paramedics to respond was the father of one of the kids killed in the car....

And there is a RP.Net photo. It was the CSXT F7 ABBA Set in the 2 tone* Paint.
