Romulus 1-3-07

Unread post by Rick M »

I have never spent time railfanning in Romulus before so I spent some time downtown this morning at the Goddard rd and Shook rd area.

Here is what I saw, I planned on heading over there in the early afternoon but it didn't work out.

CSX 7643 Northbound 8:20 am
CP Rail Eastbound 8:55 am
CP Rail Eastbound 9:25 am
Lease unit & UP engine (didn't catch the number) westbound 9:43 am
CSX 7765 Northbound 9:50 am

I will be heading back again sometime as this looks to be a busy spot and one that's good for photos.

You missed the Geo Car then, it ran up to Romulus on one track and went back to Willard? (Toledo) on the other track today.

Rick, check out this trip report. Even though its from 2004, there's a lot of good Romulus information in there.
