Ken B is a creditable source. And he does not seem like the type of person who'd post something without good reason to do so. So even though nothing official has come out I'd suspect he's on the right track.

Did anyone notice the letters for the Jackson and Lansing Railroad per the filings?
The JAIL will be running these lines. Why on earth would someone want their line known as the JAIL. Please tell me there will not be the real letters for company equipment.
Concerning the ADBF locos.
There are 6 GP9s on the A&B line now, 5 in regular service and one still in NHN paint(i think) being used as a parts engine, I belive it is 1755. I still think they need to keep three on the A&B line. Two to handle the larger grain trains and a extra.
Currently I'm driving past the Adrian engine house twice a day mon-fri. I'll report back if any GP9s go MIA.
Next will be the NS line from Kalamazoo to Detroit line.
From what i here Amtrak wants the line for there high speed trains.
When the CP going to buy the CSX line from Detroit to porter?

So if they put something on the ground will that be a "JAIL break"?
How 'bout a black & white paint scheme with vertical bars?
The logo can be two slices of bread and a glass of water

Buster Manning wrote:Hmmmm.......I wonder what the A&B had to give NS for the rights to interchange with CSX??
I skimmed thru the documents; was there an agreement that allows the JAIL to interchange with CN??
Slightly amused that A&B's lawyer can't even spell Lapeer correctly---and they have a railroad operating out of said city!!!!
I'm not able to open the docs
It seems to me grammar and spelling mistakes are more common in recent years. I wouldn't tell my wife or english teachers this but I'm so accustomed to it that it no longer surprises me.

Owl, NS and CN do interchange cars at Lansing; if you scroll west on the map that you linked, you will go by the power plant and then see a small yard north of the CN main. I forget the name of this yard and in the photo there is a DWP car sitting on the interchange, which seems to be the majority of what is interchanged here--CN family box cars and bulk-head lumber flats--that I have seen thru the years of going by here.
