Amtrak VS. Snowbank: 4 picture sequence!
Thanks, Scott. Don't give up...you'll get lucky like me sometime.Scooterb wrote:Very great shots, been hoping to get a pic like that for several years.
I hear ya. I miss riding snowmobiles as a kid and blasting through drifts. That was always so much fun. Gotta get another one someday.Mike Tabone wrote:That has got to be fun to be in the cab while doing that, I would imagine its like carving thourgh 3 feet of powder at 40mph on a snowmobile or plowing thourgh the mud on a wheel loader or pickup truck.

What did who say? Where? When? What is your favorite color?Railfan James wrote:Yeah what did they say??
Thanks, Jon. Sunday morning might be another good opportunity to get some pics of the Amtrak blasting through a crossing. I imagine many plow trucks will be out tonight all the way through tomorrow morning. Should be some good opportunities SOMEWHERE between GR and St. Joe (where most of the snow will be falling today and tonight).cnw8835 wrote:I finally get to see these pictures! Been looking forward to seeing them since you called me about them. Very good indeed.

Another good snow busting opportunity will be on the GRE monday morning. With all the snow that'll be on the ground by then, plus plow trucks, you can bet they'll be busting drifts!
