Lost Tripod

Unread post by mp_ch46 »

On Friday night, I left my tripod on the caboose side of the tracks after taking several night shots of the station. If anybody found it on Saturday, I like to get it back. There is a reward for getting it back.

Thanks

A location (City and state) that you lost it would be helpful for those to track down your tripod.

What about tracks that still are in place with a caboose, but not the tracks are not used.

For some reason I am thinking he (railohio) is thinking of the other type of caboose, the one that would be in the pool. :D

The rest of the story:

I forgot that everyone is not a mind reader. I did leave my tripod in Durand.

It wasn't till I got to Deshler late last night that I could not find trhe tripod in the H3. Even at night the dull light in my brain came on that I left the tripod in Durand.

I returned to Durand this morning and found my tripod exactly where I left it on Friday night.

Good thing you didn't leave it in Saginaw.

Seriously...glad you got it back, Kerry.

Crap I could have got me a Tri Pod? all I had to do was big hole the train and nab it? darn.

Glad to here you got it back, my older Gitzo is somewhere down a ravine in Montana between east and west Glacier Park, I'm sure some bear is using it, taking pictures of a goofy railfan climbing up ravines?
