Thanks for the update, Larry. If you ever hear about a scheduled daytime run (other than the Santa train) on a Saturday, can you alert us? I'd love to get a shot of it actually moving with the headlight on. Thanks!

Darn! I wish I'd known about that an hour or two ago because I would have made my way there to get some shots. Oh well.

Train left right at noon with a group off a tour bus. These photos are from the Oliver St crossing, through the grove around the old NYC yard run-by area, and east towards the medical arts buildings. A great sunny day for this daylight charter!!

Larry, do you only upload your photos to the T.O. database? For people who don't have a subscription, they can't view your photos. :(

Unfortunately all my picture space is full on this board, so TO is my only option without deleting here. Sorry.

There's talk about rebuilding the line from Rives Jct to Eaton Rapids. Maybe it would be better to rebuild from Charlotte and interchange the traffic with CN :? 8)

April 27, 2012 update

An unscheduled charter took place on the line Friday morning before noon. A class field trip from Bellevue Schools with adult chaperones rode the line. Looked like a fun time for all.

Would guess it might be the first train ride for most of them. Hope not the last!!! :D
