Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Public Fire up of the 1225 scheduled for October 30th has been postponed. It will be rescheduled for the near future.

By blew out a washout plug it was meant a washout plug was leaking... Something that can't be fixed while the engine is under pressure. A couple other minor leaks showed themselves that required attention. Nothing major and nothing that isn't expected (but not wanted lol) from an engine coming out of a rebuild.
No new washout plugs have to be ordered. A few gaskets ordered, a couple volunteer hours yesterday and it's almost ready for the next try.
Wouldn't holdout for a Fri nite/Sat run as all those dates are already booked for other events and a weekday night works better for the media.

Any news on the rescheduling? From what I see 1225 isn't painted yet
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
