Just a quick up date on my most recent sighting. Last Wed. The Cadillac crew made the run up to petosky and maxed out their 12 hour duty day. They tied down the train at Walton junction For the night on the way south. I talked to the conductor and he said it was mostly due to leaves on the rail, causing them to loose traction. The train was relativley long with tanks, a box car, cement and plastics hoppers. 2 gp35's up front.
First time I had seen that on this branch. More later......
Kyle
also the crew was very friendly and willing to answer a couple questions from me .. a curios railfan.... thanks guys

Tanks probably from Kalkaska with Leachete(sp)
Box probably from Kalkaska with bagged drilling sand
Cement cov hoppers go to Elmira
Plastic cov hoppers go to Petoskey and sometimes Mancelona
