Re: New LSRC Power
They were just repainted at MEI in St. Louis - they retain their old CITX numbers just for the move to the Lake State because the cards and AEI readers weren't yet upgraded, but they'll become LSRC 6503-6505sparkyalco wrote:They look good, when did those units get painted?

Are they going to repaint the 4 axles the same paint scheme? I know they still have some gray and red units.

What are the plans for the CEFX GP20D's I saw in Saginaw last month?
Also for the 4300, 4301, and 4302.

Storage for CSX? Care to explain? When did they buy them and also why so far north and not somewhere on the CSX system?Evan wrote:00-01-02 are done.GTW6401 wrote:What are the plans for the CEFX GP20D's I saw in Saginaw last month?

Re: New LSRC Power
CSX has flushed the system of lease units. Didn't know these GP29s were on CSX, it I wouldn't be surprised if LSRC have them a good rate so CSX could get them off the property.

Re: New LSRC Power
A couple things, Yesterday for the first time in 32 and a half years i watched six axle power go to Paines, The 6302 leading the 1164 on a empty grain train. And the 4300 and the 4301 left the LSRC property on Thursday.
Re: New LSRC Power
What do you mean by "are done" with regards to the 00-01-02? Off the roster? Going for repaint? The three of them were spotted in CSX Stanley yard today.Evan wrote:00-01-02 are done.GTW6401 wrote:What are the plans for the CEFX GP20D's I saw in Saginaw last month?
