Ypsi. It seems I have lost your email. Could you possibly email me if you hear of 393 making it this way again? Npcu90368@yahoo.com. mike k

I honestly could care less what the colors are or how it looks, what matters to me is that they're still investing money in the GP35s. I saw some posts on this site from around 2008 saying that the GP35s wouldn't make it into GLC blue- that they were too old. These are the people who are "in the know", too.

So the fact that nothing of the sort has happened yet is encouraging. Fresh paint on an Annie GP35 sounds fine by me. :D :D

HUGE thanks to Saturnalia for the pics!!! I didn't even know this thing was a thing.

Happy Anniversary to the GLC, for sure!!

As for their Anniversary scheme? In my opinion, it would have been more attractive if the Blue/Silver separation line was closer to the cab rather than being located in the center of the long hood. I still like it though! Kudos to GLC for acknowledging their 10 year milestone in such a way that gives railfans something to get excited about while trackside.
You know that little voice in your head? My wife says I lack that.

I would rather they restore the TSBY paint and make it a HU like WAMX did with their orange AA loco. Or just leave it in TSBY paint. I wouldn't care either way.

I like this paint scheme. Very fitting. It's kinda like the paint is getting turned "inside out" so to speak. Would've been cool to do a full reversal on the paint too, but I like it.

Is it me or did the blue on the TSBY paint not seem to hold up well?

They were originally "Black/Dark Gray!" It didn't hold up well though! Here's a picture, Kyle Korienek Collection, from locos in Owosso, 1991:
