Expect things on the HESR to be a bit slower than normal while Dow has its Freeport, Texas plant shutdown due to Hurricane Ike.

That probably means that Q322 and Q321 on CSX and D710 to Port Huron are going to be shorter trains, too.

Not really the case as what comes out of Sarnia doesnt effect HESR trains, such as shipments from Dow.That probably means that Q322 and Q321 on CSX and D710 to Port Huron are going to be shorter trains, too.
Nope hasnt moved at all since arriving. Its still over at Wenona Yard.Speaking of the HESR, is the "new" unit (3852) running around the system yet? I haven't seen it mentioned in any trip reports yet...

Sounds like trains going in will be shorter than coming out. That might explain why the other nights train was only 15 cars.

NECR 3852
According to my buddy at HESR the NECR 3852 has some issues. One traction motor is missing. Apparently the wheels were "good enough to get it here". There are also questions about the main generator. Sounds like some work for the HESR. BTW, also found out that day crew is back on in Bad Axe and extra runs to Deckerville for beet season.
