CN Flint/Lapeer questions

Unread post by firemedic54 »

What would be a good time on weekends to watch some trains passing thru Lapeer? My mom lives in Hadley and I wouldn't mind going up into town for a few hours and catch some action. Am I right in assuming I could watch from the Amtrak station or are there any better options?

The Amtrak Station is a great place to watch trains in Lapeer. I would recommend first thing in the am.

I agree morning is a good time during the weekdays and weekend. The amtrak station is a good spot and there is a grain elevator to the west of the station which makes for a good backdrop for photos.
