I'm wondering, were the locos open to go into (if anyone knows)? I saw people going into them, but it may have been workers! NICE PHOTOS!!!!

One of the engineers took some family thru 822. But most of the people going in & out were maintenance guys. I was hanging out at the exit of the museum with some staff & a volunteer for a couple hours Sunday afternoon in a Black Amtrak Polo (and getting mistaken as staff).Robertrains wrote:I'm wondering, were the locos open to go into (if anyone knows)? No, they weren't open for tours, but if you knew the right people you could get a tour...and that's all I'm saying about that.Robertrains wrote:I'm wondering, were the locos open to go into (if anyone knows)? I saw people going into them, but it may have been workers! NICE PHOTOS!!!!
Aaron, this is what that scene looked like 25 minutes before the train came. The sun was golden! Now you see why I was pissed it was running so late. Bah!SGT. S wrote:I was in Jackson also. Didnt go through it. But I did meet up with JT and John Hall. Got this photo, THANK YOU JT.![]()

MARP (Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers) were allowed a special tour inside the train and 406. They're starting their own YouTube apparently. Weird...after that video finishes, the next video to auto-load is William Shatner's "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds."tlapteditor wrote: MARP (Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers) were allowed a special tour inside the train and 406.
