I'm wondering, were the locos open to go into (if anyone knows)? I saw people going into them, but it may have been workers! NICE PHOTOS!!!!

One of the engineers took some family thru 822. But most of the people going in & out were maintenance guys. I was hanging out at the exit of the museum with some staff & a volunteer for a couple hours Sunday afternoon in a Black Amtrak Polo (and getting mistaken as staff).

No, they weren't open for tours, but if you knew the right people you could get a tour...and that's all I'm saying about that.

Aaron, this is what that scene looked like 25 minutes before the train came. The sun was golden! Now you see why I was pissed it was running so late. Bah!

If the ITCS happened to be working Sunday, would this train have used an ITCS equipped Genesis as a leader (if anyone knows)? That would not have looked good! I love the F40PH (NPCU) #406 that lead the train! Man it looked great; sure looks much better than P40 #822! Both are way better than anything Phase 5 of course (my opinion)!!!!

MARP (Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers) were allowed a special tour inside the train and 406. They're starting their own YouTube apparently. Here's the link:

Weird...after that video finishes, the next video to auto-load is William Shatner's "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds."
