They've had lights on at least the power the past couple years. It's hard to see in the daytime, but they have been there. I don't recall if they had lights on the covered wagons though.

I think, at least in the past, the train and at least some of the power comes from the IC santa train. It's possible the decorated locomotive was replaced by the 4915 for the run through Michigan this weekend, but it's disheartening to see a something that seems to be a local tradition going away, especially when it seems to be thriving on the IC.

There were lights on it last year. RB Railfan on YouTube has a video of last year's train with lights.

Any reason why the IC F units were taken off?
