Cascades NPCU 90230 ran on the Michigan Line in early 2009 and was based out of Chicago, maybe just for that winter. I’m not sure if it ever ran on the PM.
In generally unrelated news - does anyone remember when the private car Navy was being kept on the Coopersville and Marne, and would occasionally head out to tour America via 371/370? Reports on facebook indicate it has recently become part of the collection of the Age of Steam Museum in Ohio and was recently in transit there. Here's a photo of it making a classy departing statement on 370 at Saint Joseph, in 2006, I believe.
P370/P371 off to a boring start in 2023...

I have some shots of the Navy car. I'll see about posting them tomorrow along with the dates I shot them. I'm sure raildudesdad could add some info as well, as I believe one of the times I photographed it on P371 he was riding along.GP30M4216 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 9:00 pm

Edit: Actually, here is one from November 30, 2007. 7014 is shoving the car back to Coopersville after it came in on P370 the night before.

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.
