Looking forward to coming and meeting everybody. However, I can't stay past 1pm so hopefully we'll see a good amount of trains early in the day even though it seems activity has been down lately.

Normally, best time to see trains is between 5am-9am. After that it slows down until evening.

Durand May 3rd Calling for Rain

Unread post by David Lang »

All,
Unfortunately, our Durand Date for May 3rd is calling for rain. I hope that all who are considering coming still do and for those who have not been there, there is plenty of room under the depot roof overhang for a lot of people! Hopefully the forecast will change, but if it does not, I still hope to see you all there! Thanks.

I think someone needs to start a poll about postponing it due to rain.

Sorry, we are only days away now. Maybe the fall meet will give better weather. Hope to still see you all there!

C'mon guys...We're talking about the possibility of a little rain. Think positive---Maybe less-than-ideal weather will bring out more trains.
Unless it's raining anvils, I'll be there!

Do we need to bring our own meat or pay for the food from the grill?

I nominate Chris to bring the charcoal in his dirty car!
I can' prolly get a back or two from Smokin' bones when I leave later, I think we got two pallets just chillen in the barn.
