More new signals on the Grand Rapids sub

No, eastbound trains going from the main to 2 at Grandville will get a clear, then an approach at Ivanrest, then a restricting at Lamar (for the most part). A train going to 1 would get an approach medium at Dewent and then a medium clear at Grandville. Likewise, westbound trains on 1 get an approach medium at Ivanrest then a medium clear at Grandville.

Cannot believe I typed out for two track. You're right, track one is via the reverse switch. :oops:

What were they getting before this most recent cutover?

Same thing IIRC. At least for 2 track east and 1 west. I never went from the main to one eastbound before the cutover. I would guess that before eastbound trains got a medium approach at Grandville going to one.
