It was in a special issue dedicated to locomotives. There was also on article about the TSBY 35's.

It doesn't really "say" its there last year and from what you say I doubt they are just going to scrap them. I hope....

Do you guys believe everything you read? If a film crew who was going to pay the LS&I to shoot the roster was denied any information or access, I doubt the LS&I openly told trains no more U30s and C30's. Its just a big rumor.

I don't know if this is the case but railroad employees have been known to tell foamers "fibs" knowing they'll run off and spread it :wink:

Ands thats exactly what this is a huge fib, everyone is running around and saying last year for the GEs on the LS&I. Heres one thing, only the U30s and C30s can go on the dock because they have special train lines due to the close quarters, so they aren't all going to disappear at once, thats why the HLCX units haven't shown up on the dock yet.

Management and crews like'd the way the CSX GE handle and the options on it, when the uppers approve the order plans are to tack a few onto CSX's order from GE, until then we shall keep the lease units.
