I happen to wanna venture out into town, so I decided to see what was going on at GLC's property. I manage to see my favorite locomotive #2681 but from what it looks like, its still out of service.
Here we see it sidelined in front of its sister, #2648.
A different view shows its battery box open.
Plus I happen to see #391 just sitting around awaiting an assignment or check over. This is the only view I could get.
Sure enough after getting home and sitting for a while, my scanner picks them up with the words "switch move with #389", so I dashed out and waited a half hour, sure enough, #389 emerged out of the shops and came out towards the west end of the property.
Here we see #389 coming off the shop track.
Stopping to throw a switch to line them up.
Entering the mainline.
Then awaiting to go east towards the east end of the property.
Just for fun, I eventually went to the east end and spotted them moving the AOK 3-bay hoppers.
Here we see #389 pulling them forward.
Then they approach Oakwood St seen here.
After setting the cars onto a different track, the crew unhooks and prepares to run the locomotive back to the other end.
So I ran back to the other end just in time to see them pulling long hood forward with the cars.
Then they pulled them far enough to line up the switch for them to push them towards the shops, possibly for repairs.
Well thats it for this report. Hopefully you'll get to see my SRI reports soon!

Yes, heard GLC had picked up some new sand business but NWRail said it was business as usual from the sand pitHmm...did the GLC acquire some 3-bay covered hoppers recently?
