Marquette Rail GLLX 3002 (Avery's Engine)

Unread post by i995impalass »

Too all that have been wondering, the 3002 has been save from going to see the GLLXGODfather and has had it's blocks removed, that it has been spending the last few months resting on-and AT LAST has wheels under it and is in the shop in Manistee! Away can go all the nagging and bit##ing about the little engine that couldent, or the Manistee yard ordiment...with good faith, little fairy dust, and a few bad words- there's a slim chance that she will be hauling freight within the next few weeks...

Holy crap. That pixy dust we got from out west does work! And that star we wished upon out at Moffat tunnel did come true. And the Marquette rabbits foot did it's thing. And all the night's we drank and sang songs about the 02 really did help. Wow. Life just don't get any better than this.

With all that luck you should play the lotto or go to one of our many casinos, you could get rich

P.S. Tell Marquette to start using softer ballast by the club we are sick of the thugs putting holes in the side of our building off course it up high that we almost need to call the fire department for a tall enough ladder to get up there.

Softer ballast? No no no. Soft ballast bad. We have too many "soft" spots as it is. The track guys got they're hands full as it is trying to keep up with bad track. We don't need more.

Hehe... bad track.

SMW and myself made a joke on a very interesting/exiting trip one winter in the 1990's where some one said... In six feet of new snow... We will know if we are on the ground if the ride smooths out...

Heh.
