2 bnsf loads are enroute or are at chicago with dpu units,
1 dpu equiped coal loads is a cpox enroute to michigan,
this was the only thing posted, but maybe this will be the dpu
test train for the hill and could the other be for a 954 test
run to essexville?
doc, jq, or bentrail could you check and see if this is
headed for the saugatuck hill?

If it was in Chicago, it was not N954, good buddy of mine, was on it when I passed it at Hicksville. No DPU on it.

Kinda doubt they will let the stuff go on up and besides that one DPU ain't gonna cut it anyway. Needs more then that to get up the hill. Some days FOUR units ain't gonna do it. Add rain. leaves and anything else to contaiminate the rails and it not GO TIME at all.

Agreed. I've seen 2 x 2 struggling to get make it over the peak a few times.

I've been on trains with 2x2 4400ACs and stalled. Stalled with half and no pushers too many times to count.

Always fun since weather is usually a factor in the stall.

Gotta go to Garrett today (restday) to check on my camper!
