9and10news.com is reporting a train accident that happened yesterday. According to their site a GLC train hit a vehicle near Farwell. Two teens were hurt, one critical.

I heard it was the southbound train

I didn't catch which direction. The news said it was at Corning Rd. crossing. Has a stop sign and crossbucks that's all.

GLC did NOT have the stop sign.

I once went to the site of a car-train incident in Owosso. The local cop ordered the
train crew not to go on until he determined "who was at fault."
Some jerk had parked his car too close to the tracks. I asked the cop if he suspected
that the crew swerved to hit the ugly Pontiac. He then claimed that he needed to test
the crew for alcohol. I told him that he needed to overthrow the federal government first.
After I suggested that we call the Mayor, he determined that the crew could finish their
day's work.

My brothers firend lives in Farwell and called him saying there was a train accident near Farwell but didn't have all the details. Is everything cleared up?
