Anyone know how many coal cars are on the ground at Elkhart? I wonder how long it's going to take to fix and how many reroutes we are going to get.

Word has it they're adding NPCU 90222 at West Detroit Jct. to lead the train west on the Michigan Line (must have an ITCS equipped leader)....this will probably be the first time an NPCU will lead a long distance train over the road..... GO SEE IT!

I have been told by someone who spoke with Amtrak, that the train is still scheduled to stop in Elkhart. I'm wondering now if they are re-routing via the Grand Elk to Elkhart?
