Marquette Mobile Command centers

Unread post by amtrak1007 »

Marquette Rail, America’s leader in feeder railroad technology, announces that starting today, they will be employing mobile customer service command centers on the rear all of their over the road trains. “In this time of economic downturn, it is curtail to show our customers how dedicated to their business we are” – Acting manager Rick Janey was quoted in a company memo. One of the difficulties that the traditional management structure of the railroads had was connecting personally with all of the clients of your railroad. The new mobile command centers will allow our customer service representatives the ability to meet face to face with each customer on the line, helping to ensure that “we can and will make every effort possible to look after the well being of our clients.”

Plans are to add a rear end brakeman to most trains. Explains the purchase of the ex C&O Caboose from C&M, now.

Also heard Marquette Rail is secretly testing a new prototype steam engine, that uses high grade Michigan coal from a newly discovered mine up north, thus doing their part to break the need for foreign oil! Film at eleven.
