Port Huron Question

Unread post by mike nowakowski »

Went railfanning there saw a train come out of the tunnel and noticed that there was bright lights illuminating the cars as they passed. What is this for? Inspecting for things i would assume.

It's so the trains can see where they're going  Actually I agree with hoborich or maybe its customs.

I've seen these brights lights lighting the sides of the train right as the trains go by the Amtrak station. Some kind of scanner I presume.
